Racket sports at Radley

Here at Radley, we're lucky enough to have the facilities for a wide variety of racket sports, including tennis, squash, badminton and even 'real tennis'.

Real tennis is the original racket sport which lawn tennis is descended from. There are only 47 real tennis courts remaining in the world, and over half of them are in Britain. The sport was made popular by the English king Henry VIII, who played on his still surviving court at Hampton Court Palace - a site we visited on our recent excursion!

Here are some photos of squash and badminton sessions in action.
