At Discovery Summer Olympics Radley College faced Winchester College at their campus. Radley College won the cup fair and square. Tug of War was the game which made the difference between Radley College and Winchester College.
The objective of Tug of War is to pull the rope until the other team which pulls the other side of the rope crosses a line.
The finishing of the Tug of War was quite different than usual because the rope snapped! The biggest reason for this was that all the Turks were at the back part of the rope and suddenly we pulled the rope strongly and then the weight of the rope became light and we noticed that the line had collapsed.
For Gary, winning this trophy was a dream and it became true! Radley won the Discovery Summer Olympic Games. Now, our teachers are asking us to write an essay about our day at Winchester and Discovery Summer Olympics!
