Winchester Olympics by Maria Alexandra Bragaru

Yesterday we had Radley vs. Winchester Olimpics and we went to Winchester. The college was very beautiful but I like Radley more. The Olimpics were great, and guess who won!! Radley, of course.

First I thought that it was going to be boring, but after some time I loved it, and it was one of the best days here at Radley. All the games were funny and exciting, but I think the best of them all was the "British Bull Dog". There were two teams with an equal number of players and they had to stand in a line at one side of the field where we played the game. One impartial player had to stand in the middle of the field and try to touch as many players as possible from each team when they were running to the other side of the field. Then after the rules were explained we heard the whistle and started running to the other side of the field and tried not to be touched. Everything went like a dream, Radley won three times and Winchester only once, so the trophy was ours.

All those games were played in Winchester College in their courtyard. Everything around was green and the field was surrounded by trees, which looked as if they were keeping and protecting a great secret from the outside world, all the plants and even the weather seemed different and in our advantage. I thought that every creature in the whole word wanted us to win. And we did it, Radley Won the Olympics and we came back home full of joy and victory.
