The Olympics part 3

On Thursday was our final trip to the Olympics. It was brilliant that so many students got the opportunity to go and see an Olympic event while Britain was hosting the games.
Tonight is the Olympic closing ceremony, and everyone will be sad when the games are over.
Hopefully these final photos will remind us of how much fun we had when they were here!

The group of Teens took the tube (the underground train in London) to the Olympic Park

and saw the crowds of other spectators

The event they saw this week was synchronised swimming

These photos give more of an insight into what the Olympic Park is like inside

There are lots of flowers around the park, as well as a river which runs through the middle

The park has a number of art installations, including the enormous Orbit which we saw on the last Olympic trip

It was nice for us to be able to represent and support a range of countries

The swimming took part in the aquatics centre, which was marked by a huge statue of the Olympic rings

Well done to everyone for being so helpful and co-operative on the trip, and special thanks to Sam and Allie for leading the group.
Thanks also to Polina for providing these wonderful photos!
