Our half day excursions take place on Thursdays, and usually allow us to visit the local area. Yesterday, the Teens visited Oxford, where some students went punting and some visited Christchurch College.
The buildings of Christchurch are very beautiful and historic. The college was established in 1546 and is the only college which is also a cathedral.
The students and staff relaxed in Christchurch Meadows, which the River Thames runs past.
Some of these buildings may look familiar, as they have been used to film Harry Potter, The Golden Compass and a number of other films and TV programmes.
