Radley's Got Talent

Last night, we were treated to an absolute extravaganza of talent here at Radley. Many of our Teens showed off their skills in a fantastic display of music, singing, dance and even boxing!

Firstly, we had a surprise performance from the Teen staff with S-Club 7's 'Reach For the Stars'!
It featured solos from Hannah...

Jack...

and Alex...
What a way to start the evening!

The judges Alex, Jess, Heather and Jason got ready to put the contestants through their paces.

Sharon bravely opened the show with Emelie Sande's 'Clown' on piano. Her vocal and musical talents really came through, and she rightly looked really proud as she received the judges' shower of praise.

Hector and Ambre were really inventive in their dance performance. First, they danced together with some impressive lifts and a strong sense of feeling and story. Hector then performed alone to Justin Timberlake's 'Cry Me A River', with body popping moves to rival Justin's own!

Ettore played the piano beautifully, and spoke to the audience with confidence about his performance.

When we heard that Yasunari had written his own song, we didn't quite know what to expect... Definitely not the crazy dance moves we saw! The nerves may have got to him, but he held his own on the stage and certainly entertained.

Everyone was impressed with Yagmur and Zeynep's creative performance. They used their Discovery water bottles as percussion instruments to accompany a beautiful accapella song.

Avner showed off his boxing skills with the help of Activity Leader Tom. It was great to see a change from music and dance!

Student Hosts Tom and Ed gave us an emotional rendition of Ed Sheeran's 'Know You Better'.
We could really feel the connection between them throughout the song...

Shana, Egor and Aretha performed teen pop favourite, One Direction's 'One Way Or Another'. Shana's energy and enthusiasm was brilliant!

Anna was our next singer, who this time went for a fantastic solo performance.

Finally, Shoji gave us another musical overture with a complicated piano piece. We're lucky to have so many gifted musicians here at Radley!

The judges, audience and everyone else would like to thank all the performers for sharing their talents with us, and congratulate them on their hard work and bravery.

A special well done goes to Zeynep and Yagmur for winning the public vote and becoming Teen champions of Radley's Got Talent 2013!
